Think Bucket ; LINC Womens Confrence

I was lucky enough to be involved with a great team of people last Thursday as apart of the LINC project 'Learning through engagement' which brings women's groups together from around Northern Ireland and cross boarders .

 This was a celebratory conference in honor of the program and the women  involved.

 Unfortunately it was also part of the end of the project as they are not able to continue.

 I was providing patches for the women to use during the conference, to write and draw their favorite part of the project on. I  was sewing their stories together to create (an on going) patchwork, which is not finished yet .

What really struck me was the level of engagement and interest in what the creative side of the day had to offer. The sharing of stories and happiness of all and everyone i talked to.

Women telling me how they have up cycled their clothes, how they re use materials and their own sewing , knitting or crochet circles.

I Made a corner for myself and enjoyed seeing the conversations evolve.
